Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in the Bridport area that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The role: Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to access learning and promote independence. Collaborating with class teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Providing personal care or behavioural support as required. The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting. Be calm, patient, and resilient, with a nurturing approach. Be confident in managing behaviour in a positive and consistent way. Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
