About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Personal Assistants to provide support to a twelve‑year‑old boy with additional needs within his own home and to access the local community.
Responsibilities
* Support with personal care including getting ready for/after school, toileting, showering, feeding, and maintaining daily personal hygiene.
* Assist with supervision and safety when accessing the local community.
* Help with social activities such as swimming, trampolining, park visits and arts & crafts.
* Promote the child’s independence.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proactive, motivated, caring individual with a passion for supporting others.
* Driver with a full licence and access to own vehicle (mileage will be provided).
Working Hours & Pay
Up to 26 hours per week during term time and up to 34 hours out of term time. Hourly rate £12‑£15 depending on experience, with 5.6 weeks paid annual leave. Hours are flexible but support is required before and after school during term time.
