Overview
Tax Manager role with a well-established and client-focused firm based in Wareham. You will join a growing private client tax team and work with a diverse portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, property investors, entrepreneurs, and trusts. You’ll deliver high-quality tax advice and compliance services and act as the key point of contact for your clients, providing tailored, proactive guidance on topics from income tax to inheritance and capital gains tax planning. Role Responsibilities
* Managing client relationships: Serve as the main advisor for a wide-ranging portfolio, ensuring a high level of client service.
* Handling compliance and advisory work: Prepare and review personal tax returns and advisory documents covering IHT, CGT, trust and estate planning.
* Overseeing your portfolio: Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure compliance with relevant deadlines and standards.
* Spotting new opportunities: Help grow the firm by identifying new client needs and cross-selling additional services.
* Upholding high standards: Be an ambassador for the firm and contribute to continuous improvements in client service and delivery.

Candidate Requirements
* Excellent technical knowledge, particularly in personal tax, trusts and estates
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, especially during peak compliance periods
* Confident communicator and relationship builder with a client-first attitude
* A team player with a proactive approach and a keen eye for opportunity
