Vehicle Technician Vacancy in Milton Keynes
1. Basic Salary: £37,250 + bonus
2. On Target Earnings: £45,250
3. 45 hours per week, weekends on a rota basis
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a modern, fast-paced main dealership workshop in Milton Keynes. This is a great role for an experienced technician who wants to develop further within a supportive, high-performing aftersales environment, using the latest diagnostic tools and manufacturer-led training.
You’ll be joining a professional team where quality, efficiency and teamwork are key, and where your development and progression are actively supported.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work across a wide range of vehicles
5. Complete diagnostic work, warranty repairs and routine servicing to a high standard
6. Undertake tasks including oil services, cambelt replacement and general mechanical repairs
7. Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with workshop standards
8. Complete accurate job card write-ups and maintain high levels of productivity and quality
Requirments:
9. Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
10. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Service Technician in a workshop environment
11. Confident working on servicing, diagnostics and repair work
12. Strong team player with a professional, process-driven approach
13. MOT licence is advantageous, though not essential (training can be provided)
14. Eager to learn and develop within manufacturer accreditation and EV/hybrid training pathways
