Job Description
We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support our manufacturing operations in Manchester and play a key role within the Senior Leadership Team in driving performance across the business.
As Financial Controller you will have full financial accountability for the Manchester site, ensuring that the factory’s financial performance supports and advances Rotork’s Growth+ Strategy.
Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller and working hand in glove with the Site Leader, the Financial Controller will lead the local finance team at one of Rotork Group’s key operational sites bringing a strong Business Partner mindset to oversee the accurate reporting of all site-level management and statutory accounts, along with the development and analysis of business forecasts, QPRs, and AOPs.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the finance partner for site leadership, providing insight, challenge and clear analysis.
* Translate operational performance into meaningful financial outcomes.
* Support decisions across production, engineering, quality and supply chain.
* Review production performance, variances and cost drivers.
* Lead site budgeting, forecasting and month‑end insight.
* Support product costing, standard cost updates and inventory control.
* Work with Shared Services to ensure accurate data, aligned processes and smooth reporting.
* Serve as an escalation point for site‑specific finance queries.

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
* Strong technical accounting expertise (ideally qualified: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience in a Shared Service Environment
