We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team in Oerlikon Neomet to drive the sales of Honeycomb and other Neomet products.
As a Sales Manager, you will play an integral part in creating and maintaining a sales plan to achieve targets with international customers in both the Aerospace and gas turbine industries.
You will use your experience and industry knowledge to maintain an up-to-date awareness of the market and our competitors and use this information to support the sales strategy.

Your Responsibilities
* Prepare and support the creation of quotations, lead customer negotiations, and ensure timely follow‑up and feedback on all submitted proposals.
* Identify, communicate, and support cross‑selling opportunities across the Neomet product portfolio.
* Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with sufficient opportunities to exceed annual revenue targets and support the five‑year business plan.
* Prepare, agree, and manage annual revenue budgets and provide additional financial data as required.
* Ensure that all new and existing business meets profitability expectations in line with company targets.
* Lead the initial management and support the introduction of new projects (NPI), ensuring smooth and effective handovers to the CSC team.
* Provide regular feedback on customers, competitors, market trends, opportunities, and pipeline activity during the monthly Sales Review.
* Monitor market demand for Honeycomb and Neomet products within the aerospace and gas turbine sectors.
Your Profile
* Ideally educated to degree/HNC level in engineering or qualified by experience
* Technical sales background within aerospace, oil and gas or other highly regulated industries.
* Excellent customer relationship management skills.
* Ability to utlise and understand budgets and forecasting.
Essential skills
* Target‑driven, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
* Proven ability to sell within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Ideally, experience or knowledge of surface treatments and/or thermal spraying processes.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels of an organisation.
* Solid industry understanding relating to surface treatments and their applications.
* Advanced IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
* Experience using CRM platforms to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines.
* Ability to read, interpret, and work with technical drawings.
* Strong presentation skills, capable of confidently introducing services and solutions to customers.
* Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required to support customer engagement and business development.
