Day-to-day of the role:
1. Oversee all areas of the kitchen including food preparation and culinary activities.
2. Ensure menu compliance with recipes and guidance, maintaining high standards of taste and quality.
3. Manage the onsite team, ensuring effective team management and staff development.
4. Conduct ordering and stock rotation to ensure fresh supplies while adhering to budget constraints.
5. Implement portion control and cost management to maintain kitchen efficiency and reduce waste.
6. Uphold all health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with Environmental Health Organisation (EHO) requirements and site standards.
7. Organise and manage functions, with overtime compensation for events after 5 PM.
