Job Description
* As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator your role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines. Your experience in machine setup, and precision machining will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict industry standards and specifications. You will work closely with engineers, and other manufacturing personnel to achieve efficient and accurate machining operations.
Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating of CNC machines.
* Working to close tolerances
* Directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control.
* Skills and Experience:
* Experience in setting and operating CNC machines preferred but not necessary as training will be given, including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools.
* Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process.
* Must be self-motivated, shows initiative, has the ability to problem solve and work alone.
* A sound working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling and proper tool usage.
* Good attention to detail
* Knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Siemens 840D Controls preferred
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications desirable
* Shift Pattern: "3 on, 4 off" (Rotating Days/Nights)
* Work 3 consecutive shifts (either days or nights)
