Join to apply for the Tesco Colleague - Dingwall Mart Road role at Tesco. The Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Putting training into practice to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines in store that meet customer needs at the right time.
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and your part in delivering service, sales, waste reduction and profit goals.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
You will need
* A passion for delivering great service and greeting customers with a smile.
* The ability to build rapport with customers and leave them with a positive shopping experience.
* To take initiative and make customer-centered decisions.
* Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
* Build relationships with colleagues to create a positive team spirit.
* Be punctual, well presented and ready to be a brand ambassador.
Availability
Availability windows are provided to indicate preferred times in the week. We will schedule contracted hours within these times and provide three weeks’ notice of exact shift timings. Flexible scheduling is supported if your availability closely matches but does not exactly align with advertised times.
