The role will focus on identifying and analyzing environmental regulations across the assigned region, executing technical and stakeholder engagement and ensuring full compliance with regulations pertaining to key environmental regulatory topics (including environmental regulations impacting hardware, software and service, circular economy, extended producer responsibility, materials and substances, consumer information as well as climate policy). The position is based at Apple's iconic UK headquarters in London Battersea, where you will be interacting with colleagues cross-functionally.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in analysing environmental regulation and developing environmental programs; understanding of policy and stakeholder engagement processes;
* Good knowledge of product and corporate environmental regulations affecting consumer electronics;
* Ability to communicate complex regulations and technical information to internal partners in a clear and understandable way;
* Consistent track record of working with cross‑functional, international teams;
* Collaborates well in interdisciplinary project teams; Self‑motivated and pro‑active;
* Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management and Sustainability, Ecology, Law, Political Science or a related field;
* Proficient in English is a must, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
