Overall purpose of the role

Join our Global Market Operations team in Glasgow and play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our trade and transaction reporting!
This is an exciting 6-month contract, offering you the opportunity to contribute to critical remediation efforts within EMEA transaction reporting. You will be a key player in identifying and resolving reporting logic flaws across our front-to-back systems, ensuring adherence to complex EMEA regulations. This role provides a unique blend of regulatory expertise and hands-on system remediation, working daily within JIRA to manage and resolve bugs, perform root cause analysis and implement effective fixes.
Key Accountabilities:
* Remediation & Change Management: Spearhead efforts to correct transaction reports by investigating and fixing reporting logic flaws
* Systemic Issue Resolution: Delve into mini case logs in JIRA, conducting analytics, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions
* Front-to-Back Flow Expertise: Apply your understanding of front-to-back systemic reporting to drive effective change
* SME Level Contribution: Act as a subject matter expert, bringing your regulatory and product knowledge to the forefront of our operations
Key Skills:
* Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly within EMEA transaction reporting (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR). Alternatively, experience with US OTC (CFTC, Canada, SEC) or APAC (HKMA, ASIC, MAS) or other European regulations would be considered
* Change Management: Proven experience in driving regulatory change and adapting reporting logics
* Product Knowledge: Familiarity with OTC products
* Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform detailed analytics, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions
* Tool Proficiency: Experience working with JIRA for case management and issue resolution
