The post holder will provide efficient, confidential, and reliable administrative and secretarial support within the Leadership team. Good communication skills are essential to ensure a proficient, high‑quality service.
Responsibilities
* Support and cover for the Business Administration Office when appropriate.
* Type correspondence, reports, minutes and agendas to a high standard using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other packages.
* Deal effectively and politely with enquiries both internal and external, using personal judgement on dissemination to appropriate staff member in Department/Trust.
* Assist with general office administration including scanning and photocopying as required.
* Remain calm and sensitive in difficult and sensitive situations.
* Maintain staff and patient confidentiality in all areas of work.
* Carry out any tasks effectively which are regarded as being within the grade of this job.
* Attend meetings where relevant.
* Liaise with the Business Administration Team to ensure all deadlines are adhered to and tasks are carried out competently.
