ABOUT THE ROLE We are on the search for an organised and proactive ec om & Corporate Operations Assistant Manager to play an integral part in our Supply Chain team. This is a vital role in managing the despatch process for eCommerce and corporate orders, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to our customers, and providing excellent service throughout the order fulfilment process. With a huge focus on planning for our peak despatch period in the run up to Christmas you will support in refining processes to improve efficiencies. We are looking for a self-starter who can work autonomously to tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail. Juggling multiple priorities and keeping calm under pressure in a high paced environment. This role is full time, 40 hours and based in at the Daylesford Farm, Gloucestershire. Salary 34,000- 36,000 per annum, based on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Working closely with our 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse to ensure seamless processing and delivery of orders; despatched to the expected high standard of our packing specifications. Overseeing the demand planning of any fresh stock required for despatch, adhering to relevant cut off times and deadlines. Working with the eCommerce web and corporate sales teams to build longer term volumes for Daylesford & Bamford which will allow our 3PL to plan resource effectively Managing the Ecommerce & Corporate fulfilment team, ensuring cover in all areas in cases of annual leave or absence. Ecommerce and corporate stock holding at our warehouse by managing auto replenish to ensure maximum fulfilment and minimum wastage. Ensuring the safe delivery of all despatches with the tracking of ecom & corporate orders on our courier's portal. Collaborating with our account manager to ensure claims are raised on damaged stock or missing parcels where relevant. Liaising with the Corporate Sales, ecom and Stock Planning teams to ensure that communication and the flow of information is clear and concise. Monitor the efficiency of 3PL E-commerce and Corporate dispatch operations through key performance indicators (KPIs). Working with the 3PL warehouse and inventory team to ensure accurate ecom & Corporate stock levels, monitor and analyse inventory movements to initiate process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings. SKILLS YOU WILL BRING Exceptional communication skills to express ideas clearly verbally and written. Confident with excel for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting tools to support business decisions. Strategic planning & organisation-able to keep tasks on track, manage priorities efficiently, and optimise workflows. Confident to collaborate effectively, build relationships, and contribute to a positive team culture. High attention to detail to spot discrepancies, maintain accuracy, and uphold high-quality standards. Creative problem-solving to proactively navigate challenges, find innovative solutions, and improve processes. Time management skills -able to balance multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and stay productive. Experience in managing a team is a plus but not essential.
