Job Overview
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer to join a dynamic mobile squad.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who has an interest in manual and exploratory testing for native iOS and Android applications. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, testers, and product owners to help ensure the quality and reliability of digital products.
This role offers clear progression, with exposure to test automation, Agile practices, and real-world delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with exploratory and manual testing of iOS and Android mobile apps.
* Execute test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Support regression testing to confirm stability of existing features.
* Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners in Agile ceremonies.
* Log and track defects in issue management tools with clear documentation.
* Help maintain and update test cases, test data, and documentation.
* Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
* Some experience or coursework in manual testing, ideally for mobile apps.
* Interest in exploratory testing and learning through hands-on practice.
* Familiarity with tools such as Postman for API testing.
* Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile principles.
* Basic knowledge of Git or similar version control systems.
* Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
* Mentorship from senior QA engineers and developers.
* Hands-on exposure to mobile test automation frameworks (e.g., XCUITest).
* Opportunities to learn API automation and continuous testing.
* Involvement in real Agile workflows and cross-functional projects.
* Development in areas such as test strategy, automation, and quality assurance practices.
