Job description
Plan and lead proposals and cost estimates for all projects.
Support the Bids and Tenders team in preparing documents to secure projects with existing and new clients.
Provide comprehensive proposals, including proposal letters.
Estimate costs for projects, products, and services.
Handle clarifications related to proposals.
Liaise with the Bid and Tender Coordinator to ensure client requirements regarding detail and documentation are met.
Assist the Tender Manager with BNB, approval, and handover processes.
Support the sales team with proposals, cost tracking, understanding customer specifications, and final budget calculations for projects, products, or services.
Profile
Assist the Sales Team in acquiring new work by preparing proposal documentation and estimates as needed.
Lead, plan, and prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects.
Manage the estimation enquiry process.
Prepare detailed proposals.
Maintain and develop client relationships, attending and contributing to meetings.
Ensure smooth operation of the estimating and tender process by liaising with clients and all departments.
Assist with bids for new contracts and support procurement activities.
Support the business in converting estimates into orders successfully.
Apply estimating knowledge and pricing to prepare and submit competitive tender packages.
Interpret drawings and specifications from clients to produce accurate estimates.
Create presentations and documents to support internal communication.
Gather information to populate estimation documents.
Organize project files with internal and external information.
Input and maintain details in CRM systems.
Deputize for the Bids and Tender Manager when required.
