Job Title: Product Manager

Job Description

This contract-to-hire Product Manager role sits within a global experiences team and focuses on supporting credit card acquisition journeys across multiple international markets. Based in Brighton with a hybrid pattern of three days onsite per week, you will own backend product integrations, vendor onboarding, and regulatory-sensitive journeys such as ID verification, KYC/KYB, and authentication flows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that complex, multi-market acquisition journeys are robust, compliant, and delivered to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for vendor integrations, including ID verification partners and backend authentication systems that support credit card acquisition across multiple markets.
Manage backend product integrations to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that align with regulatory and platform constraints.
Collaborate closely with engineering, risk, legal, compliance, and regional market teams to design and deliver acquisition journeys that meet business and regulatory requirements.
Translate business and technical requirements into clear, structured documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business requirement documents.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to drive effective prioritisation and delivery.
Maintain transparent and consistent communication across global teams, effectively managing competing stakeholder priorities in a complex matrix environment.
Ensure that regulatory requirements and platform limitations are fully understood, accurately reflected in product designs, and built into delivery plans.
Track delivery progress across markets, proactively identifying risks and issues, and ensuring timely, high-quality implementation.
Work with UX and technical teams to refine user journeys and backend flows that support seamless and secure application experiences.
Use data and analytical insights, including SQL where appropriate, to inform product decisions, validate assumptions, and measure performance of acquisition journeys.Essential Skills

2–5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Product Analysis.
Proven experience working with backend systems, APIs, and vendor integrations.
Strong product management capabilities, with experience as a technical product manager or product owner in an agile environment.
Demonstrated experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated sector, including exposure to regulatory compliance requirements.
Confident stakeholder management skills, with experience operating in complex matrix organisations and across multiple markets.
Ability to produce strong, structured documentation such as acceptance criteria, user stories, process flows, and business requirement documents.
experience working within agile and scrum methodologies, including active participation in core ceremonies.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, adapting communication style to suit the audience.
Strong analytical skills and structured communication, with the ability to interpret data and present clear recommendations.
Comfortable navigating multi-market stakeholders, particularly across the UK, US, Mexico, and Japan.
Ability to work onsite in London four days per week.Additional Skills & Qualifications

experience in payments or fintech environments, including familiarity with industry-specific regulatory and compliance considerations.
Knowledge of vendor integration patterns and best practices for secure authentication and ID verification journeys.
Exposure to NFC technology and related payment or authentication use cases.
experience using SQL to query data and support analytical decision-making.
Familiarity with UX principles and the ability to collaborate with UX teams on user journey optimisation.
Background in working with KYC/KYB, ID verification, and authentication flows in digital acquisition journeys.
experience working within a high-impact global product organisation or similar international context.

Work Environment

The environment is fast-paced, global, and highly collaborative, with frequent interaction across multiple markets including the UK, US, Mexico, Japan, and Australia. You will work with backend systems, APIs, vendor platforms, and data tools such as SQL, as well as partnering closely with UX specialists to refine user journeys. The setting is professional and office-based on onsite days, with an expectation of appropriate business-appropriate attire in line with a corporate financial services environment.
