Human Resources Director
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR professional to join a dynamic education organisation in a senior leadership capacity. This is a unique opportunity to lead HR strategy, policy, and operations within an organisation committed to excellence in education.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in education and be confident handling complex casework, including employee relations, performance management, and sensitive HR matters. A strong knowledge of employment law and the ability to provide pragmatic, compliant, and strategic guidance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the HR function, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and education sector best practice.
* Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
* Provide expert advice on employment law, policies, and procedures.
* Support senior leadership in workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing organisational culture.
Requirements:
* Extensive HR leadership experience within the education sector.
* Strong track record in handling complex HR casework and employment law matters.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* CIPD qualified or equivalent professional HR accreditation preferred.
