The role

<div><p>Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance (CBAF) Team where you will develop strong knowledge of CBAF products, processes and systems to enable an efficient and accurate customer onboarding process, ensuring you deliver a consistently high standard of customer experience.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage inbound requests from internal teams such as Sales, Account Managers and Broker Support, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and service level agreements (SLAs).</li><li>Conduct customer due diligence, including risk assessment, verification of beneficial ownership, and validation of identity and address documents.</li><li>Prepare and issue finance and security documentation in line with credit approvals, regulatory requirements and internal policies.</li><li>Complete pre-payout checks, ensuring agreement and asset details are accurately captured in the lending system before funds are released.</li><li>Maintain accurate system updates and communicate application status as needed.</li><li>Provide clear, prompt assistance to internal teams, customers, brokers and suppliers via phone and email, escalating complex issues where required.</li><li>Work effectively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving for brokers and customers.</li><li>Process payments to suppliers and intermediaries in a timely and compliant manner.</li><li>Manage post-execution tasks, including portal updates, security registration, welcome documentation and allocation of deposits or initial payments.</li><li>Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using our internal system.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in sales support or customer onboarding, ideally in the financial services sector (not essential).</li><li>High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.</li><li>Proven experience of working proactively and taking initiative.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Numerate with analytical ability.</li><li>Able to engage with customers and colleagues at all levels and liaise effectively with other internal departments.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills, able to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills</h3><ul><li>Demonstrated high standards of service in a customer‑facing role.</li><li>Experience in the financial services industry or in a similar operational role.</li><li>Experience in the asset finance industry.</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.</li></ul><p>Location: Sale, Manchester. The role is based in our office and offers a hybrid working arrangement that supports a balance between office and home time.</p></div>
