Job Description:
Gentech Recruitment is delighted to partner with our client based in Craigavon, who is currently recruiting for the role of Welder/Fabricator Supervisor. The role involves:
1. Liaising with the Senior Fabricator & Fabrication Coordinator to establish workload requirements.
2. Reading and understanding pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
3. Fabricating pipe sets for various diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipes ranging from 65mm to 500mm) from shop drawings.
4. Ensuring adherence to company welding procedures and that pipe preparation and fit-up meet the required standards.
5. Liaising with line managers regarding any defects, safety issues, and non-conformances.
6. Ensuring work progresses in a timely manner in accordance with workload and specifications.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous MIG and TIG welding experience.
* Previous fabrication experience.
* Previous supervisory experience.
