With responsibility to provide an effective customer-focused case management and assessment service for vulnerable clients receiving housing support services including people who are often marginalised in the wider community.
The responsibilities of the post include assessing and reviewing housing support assessment packages, processing referrals for the Tenancy Outreach Service. Providing a point of contact for service providers in the building-based services in the administration of the supported units.
The postholder will carry out each of these responsibilities in a way which reflects the Councils key values, principals and policies.
Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate to homeless people in a sympathetic manner. Tact and discretion are vital. Applicants should have knowledge of Housing and Homeless legislation along with qualifications in Housing or customer care as well as experience of working in Housing with people in a vulnerable environment.
You will work 22.12 hours per week.
