Care Assistant – Flexi Days and Nights 22-44 hours per week. Salary: £12.21 - £12.46 per hour.

Main Duties
* To enable people to remain as independent as possible whilst providing support and assistance as per the individual’s needs. This includes delivering personal care such as washing, dressing and oral care.
* Be understanding and patient towards everyone and their needs, encouraging and supporting participation in leisure activities appropriate to the individual and their preferences, and supporting individuals and groups to outside appointments and leisure outings.
* Make and change beds, tidy rooms, undertake light cleaning duties, and help keep the home clean, pleasant and welcoming at all times.
* Help to serve meals and drinks at mealtimes and other times, presenting meals and refreshments attractively and providing the appropriate level of support at mealtimes.
* Understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements relevant to the role (Health & Safety, COSHH, Care Standards Act) and Infection Prevention and Control policies to maintain a safe environment throughout the home.
