We require an experienced electronics technician to join our small team of technicians based in the Physics Department electronics workshop facility.
About You
- Be responsible for day‑to‑day electronics support in a teaching and research environment.
- Have good communication skills, be able to plan your workload and work using your own initiative, often to short deadlines.
- Have a proven track record in fault diagnosis, repairs, maintenance, servicing and modification of a wide range of specialised and sophisticated electronic/electrical equipment.
- Be competent in design and development using CAD software for circuit and PCB design and construction of specialised electronic circuitry using conventional through‑hole and surface mount technology (SMT).
