Great opportunity to work as a Bakery Operative for our client, a leading UK bakery brand that produces bread and other bakery products and distributes them nationwide to retailers and food service providers. Staffline is recruiting Bakery Operatives in Forest Gate, London. The rate of pay is: - Days £12.21 per hour - Nights £12.9 7 per hour This role offers full-time hours, approximately 48 hours weekly as per the rota. Working on the following shift patterns: 4 on 4 off - working 2 days, 2 nights on rota, then 4 days off. The hours of work are: - 6am to 6pm - 6pm to 6am This role requires the availability of more than 20 hours per week. Due to the location, a driving licence is preferred. However, if you have access to reliable public transport (e.g., bus), it is not required. Your Time at Work As a Bakery Operative you will be responsible for: - Deliver the best possible production of our products in alignment with site and customer requirements and standards, ensuring this is maintained across the bakery environment. - To have a high degree of accuracy; fulfil orders in an efficient manner. - Operating and maintaining machinery within the factory as operationally required in accordance with food and health & safety standards and procedures. - Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the working environment, following the cleaning best practice procedure. - Completing all hygiene documentation in a timely and accurate manner. - Participating in customer visits and audits as required. There will be some manual handling included in this role. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will be physically fit to stand and walk for long periods during the shift and have the ability to lift and move heavy items (often up to 20 kg). You must have Good English communication skills. Applicants will demonstrate good teamwork and be able to work well with others to meet targets. Experience in a similar rolis e desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
