ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Utilize manual and motorized machinery to ensure quick and accurate processing of vendor and customer return receipts.
2. Use RF devices to verify location, product, and quantity.
3. Verify received items by matching product description, quantity, packaging, and expiration date (if applicable) with documentation or RF device records.
4. Note discrepancies and mark products for review by the department team lead or supervisor.
5. Break down received products into correct selling units and place them in the designated stocking locations as noted on the department or RF device.
6. Handle damaged inventory by bringing it to the designated damaged area in Inventory Control and contacting the spill team as appropriate.
7. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
In addition to the above, all positions are responsible for:
1. Meeting company standards for quantity and quality of work, in compliance with all policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
2. Adhering to workplace behavior policies in completing job duties and assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment. Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills. Effective communication skills. Detail-oriented and responsible for accurate decision-making within guidelines. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and manage multiple tasks. Ability to read fine print and distinguish products with similar features (size, color, vendor code).
Experience:
Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
Other:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.
Physical Demands:
* Lift, carry, or move products up to 50 lbs frequently.
* Walk continuously on concrete floors.
* Perform gripping, pushing, pulling, and fine hand manipulation continuously.
* Twist or bend torso frequently.
* Climb ladders occasionally.
* Handle tools such as tape guns, utility knives, pallet jacks, RF devices frequently.
Conditions:
* Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
* Occasionally exposed to dust and cold environments.
