Job Description:
Neo Property Solutions Limited is a recognised specialist in the provision of technically challenging passive fire protection solutions.
Our services include Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping and Fire Compartmentation Works, executed as part of a rolling programme of annual inspection and/or rectification works required across multi-occupancy housing, buildings of public amenity, healthcare facilities, education establishments, student accommodation blocks, and security-sensitive office buildings and workplaces.
Fire Consultants / Fire Risk Assessors (FRA)
The Fire Consultant will be employed on a “sub-contract” basis.
The Fire Consultant will deliver an excellent fire risk assessment report, act as a key point of contact for customers during site visits, and ensure a positive perception of the company.
The Fire Consultant will undertake fire risk assessments for customers, make verbal recommendations on site, and document findings in formal reports.
Person Specification
* Full understanding of the current legislation related to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
* Full understanding of relevant British Standards relating to fire and life safety systems
* Confident, professional communication skills
* Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships
* Produce high-quality work and reports
* Effective organization for timely report delivery
* Experience in assessing all types of buildings (Commercial, Industrial, Domestic) – 2 redacted FRA reports will be requested
* Excellent computer and electronic device skills
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate industry-leading fire safety knowledge for compliant fire risk assessments
* Produce accurate and efficient paperwork
* Collaborate with the admin team to develop effective working practices
* Use best practice methods in fire risk assessments
* Ensure high quality of service to customers and staff
* Stay updated with current fire legislation and apply it to assessments
* Proven experience in completing Fire Risk Assessments
* Accredited at “Member” level by the Institute of Fire Engineers or Institute of Fire Safety Managers, or listed as a “competent risk assessor” on the IFSM or IFE register
* High literacy and communication skills
* Plan and organize workloads to meet deadlines
* Full UK driving license
* Additional professional qualifications in fire safety management and risk assessments from reputable providers
