We're currently recruiting for an Employment Adviser to join our team. You will provide advice and support to help participants overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. Your responsibilities include managing a caseload, coaching, mentoring, and building strong relationships with customers to motivate and guide them towards sustainable employment.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be target-driven, and motivated. You should possess a high level of initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure without supervision. We value candidates who can deliver first-class customer service and are committed to empowering lives and improving communities.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Organising and conducting job searches
2. Identifying potential barriers to employment
3. Ensuring employability tools like CVs, covering letters, and speculative letters are in place
Essential skills and knowledge:
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Knowledge of the local labour market
* IT literacy and experience with Microsoft Office
* Experience in a target-driven environment
* Experience delivering services that meet contractual and quality standards
