You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and the successful applicant will be expected to provide high levels of care to the child/adolescent and family. This role encompasses three specialities: asthma, allergy, and cystic fibrosis. The post holder will be required to work between Kings Mill Hospital and Newark. You will manage a cohort of asthma patients in both nurse-led and consultant clinics, performing spirometry and FENO testing, as well as developing and monitoring asthma plans.

Care delivered will include patient assessment, planning and implementing specialist care, and providing advice, support, and education in collaboration with the wider MDT, including child protection/safeguarding teams.
You will support colleagues at Nottingham University Hospital to ensure we offer support and guidance for children local to Sherwood Forest Hospitals in managing their needs around cystic fibrosis.

About us
We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as 'outstanding' for care and our King's Mill Hospital as the only 'outstanding' NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
