We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health, and associated complex needs.
We are recruiting Support Workers to join our team across our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
*Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21, which equates to an annual salary of approximately £26,652.72 based on a 42-hour working week. The annual salary is for illustration purposes only. NLW applies and will be pro-rata'd based on hours worked. This is a full-time contracted position.
We offer flexible working hours/shifts to accommodate your commitments.
Successful candidates will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting employment.
When you join Eden Futures, you will be paid for completing a comprehensive induction programme, including face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing experienced team members.
For those new to care, we will support you in completing your Care Certificate and obtaining a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or relevant to your role, in partnership with Lifetime Training.

Main Responsibilities
* Support service users to lead full and active lives according to their wishes and needs, participating in the development of their support and care plans
* Ensure safety and safeguard the welfare of service users, taking appropriate action against abuse
* Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach
* Assist service users with social activities, managing finances and medication, practical tasks, personal care, hygiene, and healthcare
* Act as an informal point of contact for family members, social workers, and other support networks
* Accurately report and record issues related to care and support to monitor health and wellbeing
* Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety and welfare of others
