Purpose of the Position
As Civil QC Supervisor, you will report to the Quality Control Manager and supervise a team of 4–5 inspectors on a major Decommissioning and Carbon Capture & Storage project.
You will ensure that Quality Control Plans are correctly implemented across all civil activities and maintain daily liaison with the client.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and witness inspections, ensuring proper implementation of approved Quality Control Plans, reports, and documentation issued by inspectors.
* Verify the collection and completeness of required Quality Records, including those for subcontracted activities.
* Oversee the preparation of the Quality Works Dossier for final handover to the Document Controller.
* Check the availability and adequacy of consumables, equipment, and instrumentation used for civil execution and control.
* Ensure materials and equipment are correctly received, stored, calibrated, identified, and traceable.
* Support the definition and implementation of Quality Control Information System rules.
* Evaluate and verify the qualification of inspection personnel assigned to works, including review of work and special process procedures.
* Confirm the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management process is effective and properly maintained.
* Verify that tests, controls, and inspections are executed per Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans, ensuring all relevant documentation is collected for mechanical completion approval and personnel have access to all required project documentation.
Candidate Requirements
Experience:
* Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Civil QC Supervisor.
* Minimum 15 years in Quality Control activities within the Oil & Gas industry or similar sectors.
Education:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Certification:
* ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Technical Skills:
* Strong background in Quality Control inspection for civil works.
IT Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft 365.
