Remuneration: £23,095 Starting Salary (salary during 6 month probation period)
£24,250 Salary (upon completion of successful probation)

About the Role

Our Care at Home services are Development based and provide enhanced support to vulnerable adults who live in their own homes with varying needs. This includes physically disabled, learning disabilities and older adults who are supported to live as independently as the are able through responsive services adapted to individual housing support plans.
About You
Essential A genuine passion for helping people. Able to demonstrate Hanover Scotland values in Inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration. Ability work flexibly and travel between developments within the area. Ability to relate empathetically to people and recognise their right to choose and independence. Willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC. Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site, covering a 24-hour shift pattern. Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
Desirable 1 year experience in care or housing setting. SVQ level 2 or above and be willing to work towards an SVQ 3. Demonstrated commitment and ability to undertake care practice in accordance with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) code of practice, National Care Standards, Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and the Hanover policies and procedures.
