We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Manager to lead a dedicated team of bookkeeping and payroll professionals. Candidates with a strong accounting background particularly those experienced in management accounts, are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and support a team of 9 bookkeeping staff, reviewing VAT returns for accuracy and compliance. * Prepare and analyse detailed management accounts and present findings to clients. * Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients up to trial balance stage. * Process payroll, post journals, and prepare and submit VAT returns. * Manage the preparation and issuance of CIS certificates and statements. * Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, building and maintaining strong professional relationships. * Contribute to continuous improvement by introducing innovative ideas and streamlining processes. * Participate in regular management meetings.
