Join us as our new Contracts Manager and help us build vibrant communities together. We are looking for a skilled professional to lead the delivery of planned maintenance and capital investment programmes, as well as other contracts.
You’ll be at the heart of ensuring our homes and neighbourhoods are safe, well-maintained, and future-ready by managing key contracts with precision, ensuring compliance, and driving value for money across all projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of planned maintenance and capital investment programmes and other contracts.
* Manage contracts to ensure safety, quality, and value for money across projects.
* Collaborate with the Head of Asset Management and Development, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality services.
* Maintain strong relationships with contractors, tenants, and colleagues; ensure services meet high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
About You / Qualifications
* Solid background in contract management, ideally in a construction and/or social housing environment.
* Minimum qualification: HNC/HND in Building Construction or similar recognised qualification.
* Strong understanding of contract law, including standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC4/JCT).
* Proven track record of managing contracts in excess of £1 million.
* Ability to use IT systems and handheld technology to record client management information.
* Strong organisational and collaborative skills; able to make a real impact in the social housing sector.
