Partnership Manager National Composite Centre

Full time – Bristol

This position is being advertised to form a pipeline of candidates for current and future positions within Civil Aerospace, therefore applicants should not expect feedback immediately. However, we will endeavour to review your CV in a timely manner.

You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of all the RR funded programmes of work at the research centre, working with both the centre’s staff and RR business teams. With the support of the respective GPOs and wider business stakeholders, you will ensure that the technical direction of the research at the centre aligns with Rolls‑Royce’s objectives.

You will lead improvement activities to enhance the safe, secure, timely and cost‑effective delivery of high‑quality research for Rolls‑Royce at the centre. Represent and communicate the company’s views at the centre, take a leadership role in broadening, growing and maintaining our portfolio of work, and occasionally lead specific projects or activities at the centre or on behalf of Manufacturing Technology.

Why Rolls‑Royce?

We are proud to be a force for progress, powering, protecting, and connecting people everywhere.

What We Offer

We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits, including bonus, employee support assistance and discounts. Hybrid working is available, and we expect occasional presence in the workplace for collaboration—on average three days per week.

Responsibilities

* Governance – Represent the company on relevant technical/operational committees, oversee membership fees, raise improvement opportunities, and coordinate with senior stakeholders and centre leadership.
* Successful Projects – Ensure projects are well defined, technically appropriate, and run jointly to deliver value.
* Technical Alignment – Partner with Rolls‑Royce specialists to create joint roadmaps, core research projects, influence equipment selection and resource capability.
* Strategic Fit – Proactively engage in centre development and identify opportunities to align emerging capability with business requirements.
* Continuous Improvement – Develop network‑wide solutions and centre‑specific activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Safe and Secure – Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety guidance and protect intellectual property.
* Project Leadership – Lead specific projects on behalf of Manufacturing Technology or other business units.
* Communication and Marketing – Represent the company to centre employees, partners, funding agencies, and universities, manage content with corporate communications and government relations.

* Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
