The Role
We're seeking a creative and proactive Marcoms Executive to take the lead on Marmalade Trust's marketing and communications activity. This is a hands-on role where you'll shape our marketing strategy, create engaging content, and help tell the Marmalade story in ways that inspire people to connect, support, and take action.

What You'll Do
* Lead our marketing & comms strategy – plan, deliver, monitor, and adapt campaigns to grow reach and engagement.
* Create content that connects – from blogs and newsletters to social posts, video reels, and live event coverage.
* Be our digital storyteller – grow our presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and more.
* Manage campaigns & media – support flagship projects like Loneliness Awareness Week, Christmas Cheer, and Marmalade Connections.
* Design, capture & share – use Canva (and your creative flair) to design assets, edit videos, and showcase stories from our projects.
* Keep our website fresh – upload blogs, optimise for SEO, and ensure it's accessible and up to date.
* Grow our community – create engaging newsletters, work with influencers, and build partnerships that amplify our voice.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in a similar marketing role (charity/non-profit experience a bonus).
* A confident content creator across digital, social, and print.
* Skilled in Canva (or similar tools), social analytics, and CMS
* Creative, organised, and proactive – equally happy planning strategy or capturing content on the ground.
* A natural communicator with strong writing and design skills.
* Excited to work in a small, passionate team where you can make a big impact.
Desirable extras: video editing, photography, influencer engagement, or a formal marketing qualification.
