We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer to join the team, to provide security services to a site in York.
The position:
* Permanent
* 20 hours per week
* Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 4pm - 8pm
* A validSIA DS/SG Licenceis essential

Main responsibilities:
* Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
* Conducts locks and unlocks
* Promptly attends to and manages any incidents
* Prevents any losses and damage by reporting irregularities
* Completes reports by recording observations, information and occurrences
* Liaises with the in-house team
Required skills and attributes:
* SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence
* 1 years’ experience in a similar role
* Ability to communicate clearly with the general public and engage/advise when necessary
* Ability to deal with uncertainty
* Professionalism
* A full, clean, UK driving licence (preferred but not essential) and own transportation to site
