Great opportunity here to join an industry leading company in a senior position, you will be managing a team of Design Engineers and having oversight over the entire NPD process. The company design and manufacture a range of equipment for various sectors.
Roles/Responsibilities
Lead the Design Engineering team with six direct reports, providing technical and strategic oversight.
Manage the full New Product Development (NPD) pipeline from concept to launch.
Conduct performance reviews and support the development of engineering staff.
Set team priorities and align departmental goals with business objectives.
Ensure all designs meet international standards and are validated via FEA, analysis software, or hand calculations.
Approve or delegate design reviews, ensuring engineering accuracy and quality.
Communicate technical updates to internal and external stakeholders.What We're Looking For
Background in the lifting industry - Preferred
Demonstrated experience leading and managing design engineering teams - Required
Bachelor's degree (BEng) in Mechanical or Structural Engineering - Mandatory (for insurance compliance)
