Duties
* Assist with food preparation and presentation for various events and functions.
* Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a high level of service at all times.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Support the catering team in setting up and dismantling event spaces as required.
* Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
* Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events.
* Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and stock control.
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Experience in food preparation and serving is advantageous.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience would be beneficial.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
