About the role
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (some flexibility required for hours tobe worked the occasional evenings and weekends)
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Communications team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and enhancing Ashgate Hospice's social media channels, developing engaging content, updating content on our website, as well as supporting other digital marketing initiatives.
The main responsibilities include:
Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hospice’s social media channels, including planning and creating content and engaging with users. Producing high-quality and creative content, including images and videos, tailored for digital platforms. Tracking and analysing social media performance, producing reports and recommending improvements. Assisting with website updates and improving online content.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is a creative thinker who has a passion for digital marketing. The successful candidate will have experience in digital marketing, particularly in managing a range of social media channels in a business environment, as well as updating website content.
You will be able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will have experience in using content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite to create eye-catching and engaging images and video content and have a keen eye for detail.
