Tasks
What will you be responsible for?
1. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture and repair high-precision aircraft landing gear components supporting MRO activities.
2. You will interpret engineering drawings, perform machining operations, monitor machine performance, and carry out in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
3. The role requires strict adherence to aviation quality and regulatory standards (including EASA/FAA where applicable), ensuring full traceability and documentation.
4. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain your PER book, meet production deadlines, and uphold safety and environmental procedures at all times.

Requirements
What you’ll need?
5. GCSE level education or equivalent
6. Fluent written and spoken English
7. Basic CNC programming knowledge
8. Experience with CNC lathes, engine lathes & vertical milling machines
9. Familiarity with FANUC controls preferred
10. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling & shop mathematics
11. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
12. Experience aligning and securing workpieces independently
13. Aerospace experience desirable
14. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
15. Team player with good communication skills
16. Organised, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
