We are looking for a Data Analysis Technician to join the Business Development team on a full time and permanent basis. This post is within a diverse and friendly team, and it is offered on a hybrid working pattern.
As a Data Analysis Technician, you will provide a full range of technical support functions that are required across teams within the Infrastructure & Environment directorate. You will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be required to support the range of disciplines and functions delivered in the Traffic & Parking and Highways & Coastal services in accordance with the Council’s strategies and policies. You will provide information, advice and guidance to other teams and officers, ensuring responses are within corporate timescales.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to promote, develop and deliver analytical and performance related reports and dashboards across the service. You must also have good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships is crucial for this role.
Astrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential. Have the ability to identify continuous improvement in the use of performance data and relate this back to the relevant officers, as well as building a good understanding of the collection and distribution of performance data required across the different service areas.
