As an apprentice, you will join the FX Operations team within LSEG FX and work towards the Digital Support Technician standard. LSEG FX plays a vital role in the global foreign exchange market, providing end-to-end trading solutions for clients worldwide. Alongside building your understanding of FX and our product offerings, your key responsibilities will include: Serving as a friendly and reliable first point of contact for LSEG FX client queries via phone or email. Learning to identify, assess, and troubleshoot common system issues with guidance from experienced team members. Supporting clients by walking them through core platform features and functionality. Documenting solutions, recurring issues, and insights to help enhance team knowledge and client experience. You will have the opportunity to learn and build a foundational understanding of financial markets, while develop ing essential skills in understanding the needs of stakeholders and how we collaborate to provide business solutions. Future Steps Completion of the apprenticeship at LSEG can open pathways into a range of specialist operational areas, including technical onboarding, client integration, and business or relationship management. What we are looking for: We’re looking for someone curious, motivated, and eager to learn, y ou will have an interest in problem solving proven either via you r college/sixth-form academic studies or extracurricular activities. For instance, you may have taught yourself a new skill, studied a subject that has exposed you to analytical skills at college/ sixth form. Have a step-by-step approach to gathering information. Enjoy working with others and be part of a small team. Attention to detail. Be curious about the world we live in, which has helped create an awareness of financial markets. Th e opportunity will suit a candidate that has completed their A Levels/BT EC or equivalent in 202 5 or by August 202 6 and achieved BBC/MMP The ideal candidate would have studied one subject in a maths, science, IT Remember what you achieve is just as important to how you achieved it. Studying an apprenticeship, you will need to meet the below criteria: Be over 18 years of age Live in England Not already be in full-time education at the point of start date. Achieved level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A-Levels/BTEC etc.) 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) Not be entered for a qualification of the same type, content and level as that of this qualification ​ Recruitment Process: We have designed the process to be fair and consistent for everyone who applies. During the process you will be asked a seri es of questions, so we can get to know you better, and understand are we a great fit for you. We want to understand your interests and passions in relation to completing an apprenticeship. The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume - closing date for applications is 20 March 2026 The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work at LSEG. The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview format The final stage is a half day in-person assessment centre in April which involves several different types of exercises – further information is provided at the point of invite. Successful candidates will start September on a starting salary of £24,700pa apprentice bonus.
