Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced Tutors to support learners who are permanently excluded (PEX) or at risk of exclusion. This is a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one or in small groups, helping students re-engage with education through tailored support.
As a Tutor you will:
* Deliver engaging and accessible Maths and English sessions.
* Support learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Build trusting relationships and provide consistent, trauma-informed support.
* Plan and adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs and goals.
About you:
* Minimum 1 year experience working in UK schools.
* Proven experience supporting students with SEMH needs.
* Ideally trauma-informed or willing to undertake training.
* Confident in planning and delivering basic Maths and English lessons.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
