G4S are currently recruiting for an Area Security Officer, to join a Government contract in London!
The role is a great opportunity to work in a corporate environment, dealing with members of the public and delivering excellent customer service. The site is an important service point for many customers, so the customer expectations are high and need someone who can meet their standards.
Contract Information:
Pay Rate:£ per hour
Location: London
Hours Per Week: 24 hours (on average)
Shift Pattern: 2 shifts per week, Monday to Friday. 07:00 - 19:30.
SIA License Required: Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
We are looking for people who hold a Full UK Driving License and access to your own car.
Your Time at Work
- Collaborate within a dynamic team and various client departments to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Verify documents and conduct security screening and searching for customers and contractors entering security controlled areas.
- Utilize color X-Ray images, to screen belongings effectively. Assist in managing health, safety, and security incidents.
- Engage in regular training sessions to uphold screening and searching competencies aligned with client premises.

- Provide friendly customer service in a high-pressure environment. Maintain physical fitness to stand, sit, and bend throughout shifts.
- Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English, exhibiting excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a bustling operational environment.
- Possess full color vision and meet hearing standards.
- Hold UK residency with the right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, criminal record, and counter-terrorism checks.
