A Little More About Your Role…
We are seeking suitably qualified Landscape Architects & Landscape Planners with a diverse track record to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. We are a passionate and motivated team with offices in all regions of the UK. We value integrity and professionalism aligned with creativity and vision. As part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and abroad.
* Be an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious, and friendly team.
* Manage smaller projects independently and support delivery of specific tasks within larger projects.
* Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development, and improvement projects, which may include:
* Strategic and feasibility/concept studies;
* Landscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for both linear and site-based projects;
* Townscape and visual assessment (TVIA);
* Preliminary/sketch and detailed design including general arrangement drawings, hard & soft construction detailing, schedules & specifications to support planning applications;
* Tender and construction packages, construction/post-construction inspections;
* Support the continued development of our relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors.
* Assist in preparing bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
* Manage and delegate project work to junior team members.
* Engage in client-facing activities, including design advice, workshops, and stakeholder events.
* Participate in internal multidisciplinary groups promoting innovation, excellence, and thought leadership.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…
* Degree in Landscape Architecture or recognized equivalent;
* Postgraduate diploma / Masters in Landscape Architecture or recognized equivalent;
* Experience in delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments;
* Experience in landscape and urban design projects is desirable.
* Experience managing landscape design during construction is desirable.
* Proficiency in Autodesk, Bentley, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Fluent spoken English with excellent communication skills.
