Whb Business Limited is seeking a skilled Logistics / Operations Manager to oversee and manage the company’s freight and delivery operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of logistics activities, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, organise, and supervise daily logistics and delivery operations.
* Manage subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
* Monitor operational performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer service standards.
* Ensure compliance with UK transport regulations and health and safety requirements.
* Coordinate vehicle usage, delivery scheduling, and route optimisation to maximise efficiency.
* Maintain effective communication with drivers, subcontractors, and operational partners.
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support business scalability.
* Maintain accurate records and operational reports.
Requirements
* Previous experience in logistics, transport, or operations management.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* Good understanding of UK transport regulations and health and safety standards.
* Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate logistics operations effectively.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
