About The Role

Regularly check fire alarms and conduct visual inspections of fire extinguishers across all venues. Conduct Safety Checks:
Perform regular fire safety checks and complete monthly reports, enforcing fire safety regulations to ensure best practices are shared with the team. Manage Documentation:
Maintain the Fire Safety portal and Logbook, ensuring compliance with our Fire Policy. Train and Educate:
Carry out Fire Warden training to enlighten the team on general fire safety and mitigate unwanted fire alarm activations. Collaborate with Experts:
Work alongside external contractors and liaise with the Fire & Rescue Service to ensure compliance with fire regulations. Investigate Incidents:
Look into fire incidents and near misses, providing guidance to key stakeholders on preventing future occurrences. Contribute to Projects:
Provide input on fire safety requirements for new builds and modifications, ensuring all fire risk assessments are addressed promptly. Conduct Drills:
Ensure each venue/department conducts at least one fire drill per year. About You

A good standard of IT skills with attention to detail. Communication Skills:

Willingness to work on health and safety projects, including weekends. Organizational Skills:

A proactive, problem-solving approach to your work. Qualifications and Training
To excel in this role, you should ideally have: Successfully completed the
NEBOSH Fire Certificate
(candidates without this qualification must complete it within 12 months of starting). Experience in
Fire Risk Assessment
. A training qualification is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided. Willingness to undertake the
Level 3 Award in Education and Training
