This is for a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high quality branded products. This client is passionate about their brand and the work they do!
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
* Overseeing the Warehouse operations
* Ensuring reported stock levels are up to date and accurate
* Making sure stock is stored correctly and safely
* Supervise and support staff to ensure optimum efficiency
* Complete DR investigations effectively and efficiently
* Liaising with the logistics team to ensure OTIF’s are met
* Assist the Stock Manager when required
* Adhere to KPI’s and SLA’s
* Effective people management of your team with the ability to improve morale
* Reviewing standards and working practices to support the achievement of all objectives
* Take ownership and play an active part in recruitment, attendance management and the success of your team
* Ensure housekeeping is kept to high standard, maintaining H&S standards within the business
* Assist the logistics team with dispatching orders
Hours of work will be 7am-3:30pm Monday – Friday, workload requirements may require additional support, the business operates shifts between 06:00 – 22:00 therefore, may require cover during peak, holiday or sickness cover.
Requirements for this role
* Experience in a similar supervisor/team leader role is essential
* Strong management style and people skills.
* Spreadsheet and database skills including Microsoft Office programs
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* The ability to lead, supervise, develop and motivate staff
* FLT License for Counterbalance/Reach Truck
