My client is a leading electrical contractor seeking an experienced M&E Project Administrator for a new build commercial office project in Manchester. The role starts on 27/05/2025.
The Job – M&E Project
Working Days: Monday – Thursday 7am - 5pm, Friday 7am - 2pm
The Project Administrator will support the project management team by coordinating various aspects of M&E projects. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
The ideal candidate will manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate project records, and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination: Assist the project management team with daily administration of M&E projects, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
2. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, drawings, and specifications. Prepare progress reports and assist with invoicing and billing.
3. Scheduling & Resource Allocation: Coordinate project scheduling, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and work adheres to timelines.
4. Communication: Act as a primary contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and handling queries efficiently.
5. Procurement Support: Assist in procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractors, tracking deliveries.
6. Health & Safety Compliance: Support the project manager in ensuring health and safety regulations are followed on-site and documentation is maintained.
7. Budget Monitoring: Help track budgets and control costs, reporting any issues.
8. Contract Administration: Assist with contract preparation and review, ensuring compliance and resolving issues.
9. Project Close-out: Support in closing projects, completing documentation, and final account settlements.
The project duration is approximately 6-8 months. The working hours are 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Pay rate is negotiable (CIS payment). A CSCS/ECS Card is required.
