About The Role
A unique and exciting opportunity to be the Supply Chain Director of Celebro, a newly created business unit within Diageo Europe. Celebro will be the European hub for the development of Nurture Brands and will manage the end-to-end marketing, distribution and supply of current small-scale brands in the Diageo portfolio, selected for their growth potential. The initial core brands in the unit will be Don Papa and Ron Santiago De Cuba. Further brands will be added to the portfolio after a process of analysing future growth potential.
The Supply Chain Director will lead the Supply Chain and Procurement of the Celebro unit. The role will report into the General Manager and will be part of the Celebro Leadership Team, playing a key leadership role in delivering topline, bottomline, cash and organizational ambition.
The future role holder is accountable to lead the Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service and to partner with all others (including Brand Change and Innovation) as needed to deliver service, inventory, forecast accuracy/bias and cost savings.
Top Accountabilities
* Deliver Supply Chain Strategy for Celebro, supporting the growth of the brands in the business unit.
* Run the Celebro Logistics operation with on-time, in-full delivery, cost control, and compliance. Partner with Commercial, Procurement and Suppliers to ensure the distribution network is fit for purpose.
* Lead and coach the in-market supply organization.
* Simplify and streamline processes and controls.
* Ensure the IBP process within the market works to the right standards.
* Be able to think outside standard Diageo systems and processes; demonstrate creative problem solving.
Interfaces
* Production hubs in Cuba and the Philippines with external partners
* Third-party bottlers and dry goods suppliers in Europe
* Multiple routes to market through third-party distributors across Europe and other global markets
* With new brands, additional supply chain responsibility across multiple product categories
Experience Required / Skills / Capabilities
* Minimum 12 years’ experience in progressive end-to-end Supply Chain roles across multiple disciplines
* 5+ years of first-hand planning experience in Customer Engagement, IBP, S&OP, S&OE, and Demand Planning
* Proven ability to develop and implement strategies
* Experience leading cost savings initiatives
* Experience in multiple routes to market including e-commerce
* Experience collaborating with senior business leadership
