Are you looking to kickstart your career in payroll and finance? Weâre recruiting a Payroll Apprentice to join our busy Glasgow City Centre office. \nWe require an enthusiastic, dedicated Apprentice Payroll Administrator to join our established fast paced team. This role is ideally suited to a logically minded candidate with volume administration and payroll experience. Candidates must demonstrate excellent reconciliation and organisational skills and be comfortable interacting directly with senior management across internal and external stakeholders. Throughout this job role you will gain hands-on experience in payroll processing while working towards a nationally recognized qualification. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in finance and administration within a supportive and dynamic recruitment company.\nKey Tasks\nâ¢\tAssist in the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls\nâ¢\tMaintain accurate employee records including timesheets, holiday entitlements, and absences\nâ¢\tSupport the reconciliation of payroll data and resolve discrepancies\nâ¢\tRespond to payroll-related queries from employees and external stakeholders\nâ¢\tEnsure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies\nâ¢\tLearn to use payroll software and systems effectively\nâ¢\tCollaborate with the finance and HR teams to support wider administrative tasks\n You will learn how to priorities your workload in a busy fast paced environment. You will also learn how to use our internal IT systems, diary management s and customer service skills. Key skills required for role\nâ¢\tExcellent numerical skills\nâ¢\tA working knowledge of windows based financial packages, strong Excel knowledge and good IT skills are vital for this position\nâ¢\tAbility to work under pressure and meeting tight accounts deadlines are key to this position.\nâ¢\tA high level of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain confidential information is essential\n\nThe right person will communicate well at all levels, make financial information easy to understand and push for process improvements, presenting these confidently to the board.\n
